This post should be all about a makeover, just that I don’t have any pictures of the “Before” status of the room. Trust me though. The transformation is dramatic. The former set-up was “sooo nineties”. 🙂 Painting the walls was the most difficult part of the project. The previous white walls were just white, showing no visible spots or repairs that could have influenced the darker paint we intended to use. But once the grey paint applied, all the imperfections of the walls popped up, so we had to start all over again, leveling the walls out before applying more coats of paint, than planned. This post was inspired by Laura, a friend of mine, the owner of the restored Art Deco boudoir set.  She used to say that she pictured Madam T. owning that furniture.
