Bucuresti, Dorobanti, Amenajare apartament 100 mp (2013)

Photo credits: Florin Ghenade

Bucuresti, Centrul Vechi, apartament 38 mp (2015)

One hundred year old apartment in Timisoara (2012)

Two bedroom apartment in Timisoara, 1914 building, erected by the city hall for emerging workers, 85 sqm, high ceiling, wooden doors and windows, beautifully preserved details. The apartment was meant to be rented, but the tenant was still a John Doe/Jane Doe at the time of the renovation/styling. An old times apartment. No brief at all. Limited budget. Complete freedom. Two words: dream project! Photo credits: Sorin Popa

Small unconventional apartment in a house in Cotroceni (2010)

This 50 sqm two bedroom apartment was completed just days before baby Iva was born. So the perspective of a baby in the house influenced my choices and the ones of the owner. The apartment is part of a house in Cotroceni, it was build somehow around the main house, therefore it is very unconventional. But I cannot think of something I love more: the challenge of decorating and styling an unconventional space, to make it functional but also welcoming and beautiful. Photo credits: Alex Rosieanu

1933 Art Deco Boudoir Set

Art Deco boudoir furniture set, produced in 1933 by Szekely Reti furniture workshop in Targu Mures, custom made from maple and black walnut, for a lady named Marie. Marie left it by will to her friend Maura, who owned it all her 101 long life. Maura’s nieces inherited it and decided to revive it. Beautiful and still very fashionable, the 8 piece set (a blanc et noir Recamier, a fantaisie blanc et noir vanity table with round mirror, a bahut fantaisie blanc et noir with bomb doors and drawers, a blanc et noir vanity table, a small blanc et noir book case with brass lamp, round blanc et noir coffee table and a geure chaise-longue with a special tabouret) has been restored and reupholstered by traditional techniques, following as close as it was possible the hints from the invoices and the agreement based on which it has been acquired in 1933. (No photo credits obviously!)
